It’s been a harder day today. Seems like Saturday is when the chemo kicks in fully. Likely because the whole dose of 5FU is now in my system – and the protective steroids I got on Thursday are out. James removed the 5FU pump this morning. I had a nice talk with Eli and my brother, but that was as far as my energy went. I ate a large portion of oatmeal and berries for breakfast, but at lunchtime zombieness took over. I have a lower appetite today, and food tastes less good unfortunately – hard to eat properly. Even water tastes bitter.

Too tired to write more. This too shall pass. Tomorrow might be the same, but crossing fingers that Monday is better.
