Easy walk today

Easy walk today

A quick update. It’s been a relatively uneventful day expect for the wonderful bread Daiana brought over and the great dinner Benjamin was responsible for, with some help from James and me. It’s nice to cook together. We have a rule in our house that the one that cooks dinner doesn’t have to do the dishes – so we meet a little conundrum when we all contribute to dinner… The dishes do get clean…

For me today was relatively uneventful. James on the other hand met some challenges when driving to the pharmacy. A normally less than 20 min drive turned onto an hour and a half. It has been raining all night and all day and we of course under those conditions get floods – and closed roads – and massive road chaos and accidents. But my anti nausea medication came home just in time for my next dose.

Today has been ok for me. The side effects haven’t really kicked in yet. I’m tired, but not fatigued. My hands get spasms and my calfs are sore, so I can’t do a lot of things before I need to relax my hands. I have spent a fair amount of hours on the couch, but I’ve also done some kitchen chores and a few minutes of work.

  1. Maybe the cold damp weather is also contributing to the soreness in your limbs. Yesterday Carol loaned me gloves with half fingers that helped keep my wrists and palms warm, kept my fingers free to use but in turn helped reduce the pain.
