Stine got an “Excellent” on her recovery progress from the surgery team today. That is good news all around and to celebrate she is getting yogurt for dinner. They are keeping the G tube closed, so her stomach and the rest are getting a wake-up workout. Everything appears to be functioning normally, the incision is healing well and with a bit of luck the chest tube will be removed tomorrow. She walked multiple laps around the corridors today as well and is off the morphine derivative drip.

With recovery well underway, we may see her working on Granny Squares and being able to text and call more often!
