Still going strong

It has been a good week and a good weekend. I’m working on getting stronger so I can tackle another large surgery. We walk 2-3 miles every day. I’ve definitely lost muscle mass since my surgery in January, but I’m slowly rebuilding muscle strength. I’m managing to contribute more and more to home chores and most days I tend to forget that things aren’t quite up to par. I’ve also gained a bit of weight back. Strangely enough I haven’t…

If you can’t go to the mountain, bring the mountain to you – or something… The mountain is unfortunately not The Sierras. That trip is postponed until I’m not on blood thinners anymore – however I wish I could but I can’t bring The Sierras home. Everything went well on my laparoscopy today. What a relief. No surprises. Two small incisions in my belly. It was not much scar tissue from the last surgery (the debulking). The surgeon got a good overview and was very pleased. He saw the tumor on the diaphragm – it has not grown, but not reduced in size either most likely. Smells like summer

Today James, Chess and I hiked in Santa Ysabel, close to Julian. It was a nice sunny and warm day, with a little bit of breeze – just perfect. We walked through two large meadows and I had to pick some of the beautiful flowers to bring home. Not a lot to tell today, but for those of you that wonder how I’m doing; I’m doing well – just waiting and prepping for the next procedure.
