Couch day

Not much to say today either. I’ve been mostly flat on the couch today. Very tired. The neuropathy is not too bad this time. I’ve had a few hot flash episodes today – according to my oncologist they are due to the chemo and not lack of estrogen. Rest mode

Yesterday after getting the chemo infusion I did not get the same side effect kick as previous cycles. I got an 80% dose and I have found some side effect reducing tricks. Hard to say which has the greatest impact but it doesn’t matter as long as the side effects are milder. Today I am tired and low on energy. I have only had faint pain and cramps in my legs and a few mild cases of cramps and tingling…

Getting closer

Tomorrow is the fifth time I get chemo infusion. Getting close to the last one – yay! I got the dressing on the picc line changed today and had my blood samples done. I still have a rash due to the glue on the dressing, but the last month I have had a different dressing (IV clear) to minimize the skin reaction. California springtime

Spring has always been my favorite time of year. I so enjoy watching everything waking up, sprouting and blooming. The colors are extra prominent, vibrant and fresh. Spring in Southern California is not quite the same as spring in Norway, but it still has its special unique signs.
