I am now challenging my inner and outer microbiome – or clearly trying to get rid of most of it. My innards have been flushed with 1 gallon (4 liters) of electrolytes. Yesterday was a day with only clear liquids to “eat” so I was on a tea, no pulp orange juice and electrolyte diet. It has been a good week and a good weekend. I’m working on getting stronger so I can tackle another large surgery. We walk 2-3 miles every day. I’ve definitely lost muscle mass since my surgery in January, but I’m slowly rebuilding muscle strength. Everything went well on my laparoscopy today. What a relief. No surprises. Two small incisions in my belly. It was not much scar tissue from the last surgery (the debulking). The surgeon got a good overview and was very pleased. He saw the tumor on the diaphragm – it has not grown, but not reduced in size either most likely.
